Executive Coach for Women

You've earned the seat — and the seat came with a job description nobody wrote down: prove it, again, every quarter, while carrying more than anyone sees. I coach women executives and founders on the machine around them and the leader inside it, so the next level costs less than the last one did.

Who this is for

You're carrying it all — quietly

The role, the team, the family, the standards. It works because you over-function, and you know that math doesn't hold forever.

The next level looks expensive

The bigger role, the bigger company, the bigger stage — you want it, but not if it's priced in the currency of your life.

Advice keeps missing the point

You've been told to lean in, speak up and self-care. You need someone who's actually run the machine — and will work on it with you.

What executive coaching for women usually gets wrong

Most of it treats you as the problem to be fixed: more confidence, more presence, more resilience. But the women I coach aren't short on capability — they're carrying structures that were never designed for the way they actually have to operate. A calendar that runs them. Teams that escalate everything. Standards nobody else is held to. Coaching the person while ignoring the machine just produces a more resilient version of the same exhaustion.

I've run the machine. I built a company into 2,000+ retail stores in 26 countries while raising four kids — through a recession, investor conflict and every room where I was the only woman at the table. What got me through wasn't polish. It was structure: decision rights, a real team, a calendar built on purpose, and the nerve to stop doing what only looked essential.

So this is executive coaching for women with an operating core. We work on you — voice, authority, what you actually want next — and on the structure around you at the same time. That's why the change holds after the engagement ends.

What's different in 90 days

  1. 01A three-year picture of your career and life — chosen deliberately, not inherited from momentum.
  2. 02Eight to twelve hours a week back — tracked, not estimated — and reinvested where you decide.
  3. 03A team with real decision rights, so leadership stops meaning doing everyone's thinking for them.
  4. 04The double standards named — the invisible work handed back, the commitments that don't serve you ended cleanly.
  5. 05A twelve-month plan with quarterly targets, and someone in your corner who will tell you the truth.

Leadership coaching for women, run on the Vital Framework

Five parts, run in order. It's the same system I use with every founder and executive — pointed at your seat, your company and the life around both.

01

Vision

A specific picture of your role and life in three years — yours, not the one handed to you.

02

Inspiration

Why your work matters — said plainly enough to steer promotions, pivots and hard nos.

03

Team

The right people carrying the right weight, so excellence stops depending on your overwork.

04

Alignment

Your calendar, your commitments and your ambitions pointed at the same quarter.

05

Leadership Systems

The meetings, metrics and decision rights that keep it running when you step away to live.

Women, real results

“I can't even believe the results. She 10X'd my revenue! So anything this woman says, I'm going to listen to because I've seen the difference in my bank account.”

Kathryn Jones Lish, Katie Richardson coaching clientKathryn Jones Lish

“I paid off my husband's medical school debt. Katie helped do this while only working 12 hours a week. I'm now able to be there for my kids. Katie is a miracle worker.”

Sarah Allred, Katie Richardson coaching clientSarah Allred

“I wanted to grow my business in a way that positively impacted our six kids. Do I write a book? Start a podcast? Launch another program? And in what sequence? I knew Katie could help me navigate these big decisions. Katie delivered!”

About Katie

I trained as an industrial designer on a General Motors scholarship, then launched a baby products company called Puj in 2008 — into the worst consumer market in a generation. It worked. We reached 2,000+ US retail stores, 26 countries and more than a million customers.

I did it while raising four children, and it nearly took me apart — investor conflict, cash-flow crises, and a version of me who was only worth what the company produced that quarter. Rebuilding my life around what actually matters is the reason I coach the way I do.

Now I coach founders and executives through the Vital Framework, and I host the podcast What's Working Now.

How it works

STEP 01

Book a call

Pick a time on my calendar. Five minutes, no payment, no funnel.

STEP 02

The diagnostic call

We map the real constraint — in the role, the company and underneath it. You leave with something useful either way.

STEP 03

Begin

We start on the first structural change that week. If it's a fit, we build from there.

Questions before you book

What does an executive coach for women actually do?+

The same things a serious executive coach does for anyone — decision rights, team design, operating rhythm, career strategy — plus honest work on the parts of the job that land differently on women: the invisible workload, the double standards, the rooms where you're the only one. We fix the structure and strengthen the leader at the same time.

Is this executive leadership coaching or career coaching?+

Both, on purpose. Career coaching for women often stops at the resume and the next move; leadership coaching often stops at style. I coach the whole system — where you're going, how your company runs, and what your life looks like while you get there.

I'm a founder, not a corporate executive. Does this still fit?+

Yes — most of my clients are founders, and a founder is an executive with fewer guardrails. The framework is the same; the constraint we attack first is usually different.

Do you work with women in leadership teams, or just one-on-one?+

My core work is one-on-one. When a client wants her leadership team aligned around the same operating system, we can extend the work — but it starts with you.

How much does it cost?+

Pricing depends on format and length of engagement, and I quote it on the diagnostic call once I know what you actually need. I'll tell you on that call if I don't think the work will pay for itself.

How long before I see results?+

The first structural change usually lands in the first two to three weeks, because it's almost always something you already knew and hadn't decided. Ninety days is the honest window for the changes to show up in your calendar, your numbers and your home.

Lead at the next level. Keep your life.

Book a diagnostic call — I'll tell you straight if I'm not the right coach for you.
