Business Coach for Women Entrepreneurs
I scaled a product company to 2,000 stores in 26 countries — it nearly broke me until I applied a completely new framework to the way I approach business and life. I want to hand you what took me years to learn on my own — and change your life in the next 90 days.

You're past six figures and stalled
The instincts that built this have stopped scaling, and you can feel the ceiling.
The business runs on you
Every decision routes through you. A week away isn't a vacation, it's a backlog.
You're winning on paper
The numbers say success. Your evenings say something else.
What most business coaching for women entrepreneurs gets wrong
Most of it splits into two camps. One is mindset work with no operating substance — you leave feeling better on Tuesday and the same bottleneck is waiting on Wednesday. The other is tactics borrowed from companies where someone else runs the household, the calendar and the school pickup. Neither one touches the thing that is actually holding the company at its current size.
I ran Puj for years believing that if I just wanted it badly enough, the pressure would resolve. It didn't. What changed the company was structural: who owned which decisions, what I stopped doing, which hire came first, and what my leadership team was allowed to run without me. Motivation was never the constraint. Design was.
That's the difference between a mindset coach for female entrepreneurs and someone who has carried a payroll. I'll work on how you think — you can't separate the founder from the company in a founder-led business — but we do it while rebuilding the machine underneath you. If you want to feel inspired, there are cheaper options. If you want your company to survive a month without you in it, that's this.
What's different in 90 days
- 01A named owner for every recurring decision you currently make — written down, agreed to, and in use.
- 02Eight to twelve hours a week off your calendar, tracked before and after, not estimated.
- 03A weekly operating rhythm your leadership team runs when you are not in the room.
- 04One revenue line cut or one hire made — the decision you have been carrying for months, closed.
- 05A twelve-month plan with quarterly targets your team can be measured against.
The Vital Framework
Five parts, run in order. Each one fails if the one before it is missing, which is why fixing a team problem rarely works when the vision underneath it is vague.
Vision
A specific description of the company in three years that you would bet money on.
Inspiration
The reason the work is worth doing, said plainly enough that your team repeats it.
Team
The right people in the right seats, and the honest conversation about who isn't.
Alignment
Everyone's priorities pointed at the same quarter's target, with the conflicts surfaced.
Leadership Systems
The meetings, metrics and decision rights that keep it running when you step out.
Women founders, real results
“I can't even believe the results. She 10X'd my revenue! So anything this woman says, I'm going to listen to because I've seen the difference in my bank account.”
Kathryn Jones Lish, Founder
“I paid off my husband's medical school debt. Katie helped do this while only working 12 hours a week. I'm now able to be there for my kids. Katie is a miracle worker.”
Sarah Allred, Founder
“I wanted to grow my business in a way that positively impacted our six kids. Do I write a book? Start a podcast? Launch another program? And in what sequence? I knew Katie could help me navigate these big decisions. Katie delivered!”
Shannon Trip, Founder
“I was actively losing investors. But now after just one pitch investors are saying ‘I'm in!’”
Liam Leonard, CEO of a $50MM fund
About Katie
I trained as an industrial designer on a General Motors scholarship, then launched a baby products company called Puj in 2008 — into the worst consumer market in a generation. It worked. We reached 2,000+ US retail stores, 26 countries and more than a million customers.
It also nearly took me apart. Investor conflict, cash-flow crises, and a version of me who was only worth what the company had produced that quarter. The reckoning that followed is the reason I coach the way I do: I don't separate how a founder is doing from how her company is built, because they are the same problem wearing two faces.
Now I work with founders and CEOs on exactly that, through the Vital Framework, and I host the podcast What's Working Now.

The diagnostic call
We map the real constraint, not the symptom. You leave with something useful either way.

Questions before you book
What does a business coach for women entrepreneurs actually do?+
In my case: I look at where your company is structurally dependent on you and I take those dependencies apart. That means decision rights, hiring order, how your leadership team runs without you in the room, and what you personally stop doing. You leave every session with a decision made, not a reflection to sit with.
How much does business coaching cost?+
Pricing depends on format and length of engagement, and I quote it on the diagnostic call once I know what you actually need. I'll tell you on that call if I don't think the work will pay for itself. I'd rather lose the sale than take on a company where I can't see the return.
How is this different from a life coach?+
A life coach works on you. As a women's business coach I work on you and the company at the same time, because in a founder-led business they're the same system. We'll talk about what you want your life to look like, and then we'll change the org chart, the meeting cadence and the hiring plan so it can actually happen.
Do you only work with women?+
No. Most of my clients are women founders, and this page is written for them, but I coach men too — Liam's quote above is one of them. The work is the same: a company that can't operate without its founder. If you found this page and the description fits, book a call.
What size business is this for?+
Past six figures in annual revenue, with at least a small team, and a founder who is the bottleneck. Below that the problem is usually demand, and a small business coach for women is the wrong purchase — you need customers, not a system. Above eight figures the work shifts toward your leadership team more than you.
How long before I see results?+
The first structural change usually lands in the first two to three weeks, because it's almost always something you already knew and hadn't decided. Ninety days is the honest window for the operating changes to show up in your calendar and your numbers. Anyone promising faster is selling you the feeling of progress.
